The founder of Choco Fansubs has decided to quit the fansubbing scene, so some lieutenants and hangers-on from that group have now gathered under the name Chibi no Choco to continue the distribution of old projects and pick up what new ones we can.
NEWS: Due to the DDOS attacks on mircx.com, we've relocated our channel to irc.linkirc.net. This may be temporary, so check back on this page if you can't find us.
For distribution of older Choco projects, please see the main Choco BitTorrent page or visit us in #chinocho on irc.linkirc.net. The old channel #choco has been closed down.

Hamasaki Ayumi - Endless Sorrow (27 MB via BitTorrent)
Hamasaki Ayumi - Evolution (included in batch torrent)
Hamasaki Ayumi - Seasons (included in batch torrent)
We're pleased to present a third Hamasaki Ayumi music video subbed by Pita. If you like this one, there are a ton of older videos on the BitTorrent page.

Egao music video (included in batch torrent)
This is a cute little music video which was animated by Makoto Shinkai, the creator of Hoshi no Koe, and sung by Hiromi Iwasaki. It was televised on the Japanese program "Minna no Uta", and since it didn't look like anyone else was going to subtitle it, Ed did. This re-release is from DVD source (yes, they actually made a DVD just of the music video, amazingly).

Bittersweet Fools OP (25 MB via BitTorrent)
This is the opening video to the Minori game Bittersweet Fools. It was animated by Makoto Shinkai, and is one of his earlier works, so you get to see how his style has evolved in the past few years.

Detatoko Princess v1 extra (3 MB direct download)
Since the Galaxy Angel manga was licensed almost instantly after our first release, we've started this series instead. It's fantasy/comedy from Hitoshi Okuda, who's probably best known for his work in the Tenchi Muyo series. The first volume starts out with a side story.
BitTorrent is a new means of file distribution. As you're downloading a file, you're also uploading pieces it to other people simultaneously downloading it, to alleviate the load on the original server.
Please join us in #chinocho on irc.linkirc.net, which is also the new home-by-default of Choco fansubs (the old channel is closed). The channel rules are pretty straightforward. We also have a web forum where you can post a comment or question if you like.
The primary contact is Ed Keyes, and you can can email him at notspam02-at-edkeyes-dot-org (stupid spam bots), or can catch him in #chinocho as Ed.
